Cancer Sciences (MA)
Cancer Sciences at Pavia
Cancer Sciences now encompass a large number of disciplines and technologies that are not taught

The University of Pavia and several other biomedical Institutions present in the city (the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the National Research Council (IMG), the National Centre for hadron therapy (CNAO) and two large research hospitals:
Fondazione Policlinico S Matteo (FSM) and Fondazione Casimiro Mondino (FCM), are joining research programmes and resources in a new Cancer Research Centre whose mission is to expand further pre-clinical and clinical research in this area at Pavia. The University of Pavia will also offer a new, one year MA Course on Cancer Sciences that will bring together fundamental advances in cancer biology, diagnosis, therapy as well key issues in the area of psychological care, ethical and legal issues, preventive policies and cancer economics.
